Apologies for being the last to mention this topic, but I've been locked out of Blogger for a day and half now, which is quite frustrating.
Yes, shock horror, Andy has gone public with his girlfriend, Jil: d'aaaaw, sweet as a sweet thing. Here they are with Frankie, Martine and Leea (soon be time for a little brother or sister, do we think?) and I am a bit confused that Andy and Martine appear to be holding hands behind Jil's back. I'm sure there's a good explanation.
And here they are again, below, posing by the team bus. She's a little in his shadow (better get used to that, lady!) but she clearly thinks he's lovely, and he is clearly as proud as a dog with two tails to be seen with a girlfriend at long last.
Long may it last! We think they've been going out for at least a few weeks, and I did wonder if she was the girly who got the triple kiss (with arm round the middle in a very familiar manner) in the Andy Goes West video. You remember, the one who was too tall to be the little girly with the fabulous placard.
And yes, Jakob has shaved his head: stop squeeing, you lot, it will grow back....
Jakob himself said on Twitter that it would grow back, so have faith. (*wonders quietly to self if he and LouLou were having a shaving session and she got a bit carried away...*) I think Jakob is still pretty, even without the hair... although I do hope that he grows it back quickly.

I bet you're right and Martine is touching her butt! And Jil's looking at Andy like: Andy, can't you wait with that until we're back home you naughty boy? And Andy is just smiling in a evil way because he knows it's not him who is touching her ass. Fränk on the other hand doesn't seem to like the fact that Martine is touching her butt, while Martine is just smiling to Leea like: Can you believe it? I'm touching her butt!

Nikki you are right, there appears to be a piece missing from Leea's shirt! And Frankie does look less than thrilled... maybe Leea needed changing?

ReplyDeleteThe guy that did the video also does one called Performance. Eh, good, but did not strike home like Le Velo! I'm concerned that I'm going to be thinking of that tune when they are racing. Did consider how hysterical it would be if the peleton did a fash mob version at the start...never happen. However - I did get that video via Levi Leipheimer- and I'd bet the majority of the peleton saw it tonight - it was flying around fast. Wish it was Saturday tomorrow! I am ready for this Tour to begin.

Last year Barbara found us a pic of an earlier girlfriend, a blonde Dutch girl (she was lovely, too, grrrr) and he looked ridiculously happy in that photo, too. I think he just wants to be loved, but doesn't often have the time to get out there and find a girl.
It must be very hard to be the girlfriend of someone so busy and so much in demand: spare her some sympathy, troops, she will have to be there when he is free (*image of Andy checking diary and snapping fingers*) but will have to amuse herself all the rest of the time. It's not easy to have a life of your own, yet to be prepared to drop all your friends and hobbies the minute the "Other Half" comes home.
And how on earth do you choose the right togs to wear? Martine's wearing a cute little strappy sundress, perfectly in keeping with an outdoor, summer event: Jil is in a Little Black Number. (pity we can't see the shoes, always food for speculation there. Would also indicate if she's the tall girl from the Out West video, or a different, shorter, girl in high heels.)
Ah well, time will tell.
